Chapter Thirteen

The weeks were quickly moving by and being away from Heidi was hitting Harley more and more each day. By the time the weekend rolled around, Harley and Adrian were ready to party since they barely saw each other during the weekday. Adrian was done worrying about boys and focusing on making memories with her best friend. She did her best to stay away from Kaiser. He blamed him acting a fool the night at Lake’s house party on being drunk and apologized for leading her on. She asked him to stay away from her and so far, he was doing so. When Harley wasn’t partying, she used classes and working out to help herself deal with the stressing from being away from Heidi. Her exhaustion was starting to catch up with her. Although she and Adrian lived together they barely saw much of either other, seeing that they were always going in opposite direction.

Harley had just got finished showering, washing the sweat away from her work out. Still wrapped up in her towel she laid across her bed, going through Facebook. She wasn’t interested in watching TV or anything because she knew she would be falling asleep soon. Her eyes were already heavy and she kept catching herself dozing off.

Giving in, she finally rolled over on her stomach with her phone still in her hand. Looking at the time she noticed it going on three, so she told herself she was only going to sleep for two hours. Taking off her hearing aid, Harley stopped fighting the feeling and allowed her eyes to close.

Moans escaped her lips as she laid there with her eyes closed. She thought she was tripping when she felt soft lips being pressed up against her lips repeatedly as she slept. Feeling a tongue separate her lips and enter her mouth, that’s when her eyes popped open and she came face-to-face with Jabari. Excited yet confused, Harley pulled on Barz’s bottom lip, slightly biting down on it. Her hands moved around inside Barz’s shirt, rubbing all over his muscular back and defined abs.

“Why the fuck you been ignoring my calls, Rider?” Barz asked while biting and sucking on the side of Harley’s neck. Harley moaned as Barz removed her towel, trailing kisses from her neck down to her breasts.

“Hello?” Barz questioned looking up at her, but her eyes were closed. Grabbing ahold of Harley’s chin Barz turned her face to look at him.

“Yo Rider, you don’t hear me talking to you?” Barz asked as they looked into each other eyes. Barz could see the lust dancing around as she bit down on her bottom lip.

“Actually no, I can’t hear you talking to me,” Harley shook her head laughing as she pointed to her hearing aid on her nightstand.

“Aw shit. My bad,” Barz shook his head as well, pecking her lips.

“Excuse me,” Harley pushed Barz off her so she could reach her aid.

Barz watched her crawl over to the night stand on all fours, naked as the day she was born.
